The hair cutter has an electric motor or pneumatic drive system. It sucks up the hair over exchangeable distance rings, and a rotating blade or one/more parallel blades (1, 2) cut the hair above or below a cutting blade arrangement. The length of the remaining hair can be adjusted by changing the distance rings. The cut off hair is directly removed by a suction system and may be taken away so that it does not fall on the floor.
