PURPOSE:To obtain a microwave attenuator for waveguide which can be held elastically in a waveguide, by wrapping the waveguide resistor in the elastic material consisting of microwave non-resistance materials. CONSTITUTION:Microwave attenuator 5 is constituted by storing microwave resistor 9 consisting of carbon or ferrite in storage room 7 of holding material 6 which is formed by microwave non-resistance materials such as foamed styrol. When this attenuator 5 is inserted into waveguide 1, holding material 6 is brought into contact with inside walls 1a and 1b elastically. As a result, resistor 9 is held in the fixed state in waveguide 1. |
