Vacuum cleaner has >=1 (pref. several) filters, arranged in the air stream, which include antimycotic and/or bactericidal agents (A). Pref. these filters include a fleece contg. (A) and are arranged downstream of the dust-removing filter, with the A-impregnated fleece facing this filter. Pref (A) is 0.1-15% by wt. of filter or fleece and may be of formulae R3SnX or RN+(CH3)2CH2PhCl- (R and X not defined). Air drawn through the cleaner is freed of fungi and bacteria.
