The plug-in shoe is used for the attachment of a chain forming part of a circular conveyor. It consists of a base with two side walls rising at right angles from it with two elongated holes fitted one behind the other in the base. Four pockets (21) positioned in pairs opposite each other are fitted on the interior of the side walls with the pockets positioned in the area of the elongated holes (18). The base surface of the pocket is located to at least line up with the interior surface of the base of the plug-in shoe.
