<p>The machine applies lengths of sheet material, particularly heat-treated, to the top and/or bottom of wooden boards. It has a central board conveyor, top and bottom sheet conveyors and a discharge conveyor. The sheet conveyors slop upwards or downwards to join the board conveyor. An upstream two-storey loading frame is provided, between whose storeys the board conveyor passes. This frame is in turn loaded by trucks with suction cups from a two-storey storage frame, the board conveyor again passing between teh storeys. Platforms (13, 14) of the storage frame (12) are stationary or lockable, the sheets (1) sliding over them, and each has a frame (27) for a coil of sheet (28), the board conveyor (3) passing between them. Extraction (29) and parting (30) mechanisms for the lengths of sheet are included.</p> |
