<p>A clamping plate, supported on rail foot and mounting plate, is connected to the latter by a screw, in fixing rails on concrete sleepers, steel supports, concrete plates etc. The bearing surfaces (23) of the clamping plate (21) are rounded in the longitudinal direction. The mounting plate (18) has a convex shape along the flanks extending along the rail foot (17a), or inclined downwards from centre to ends. If the clamping plate is of stirrup shape, the abutting surfaces of its shanks have beads extending in the plate long direction. Forces acting on the rail head from the sides are diminished.</p> |
