PURPOSE:To make it possible to save the labor cost for gauge examination by converting variation in flow into variation in inductance by inserting a permanent magnet, turning in proportion to a flow rate, into the gap of an inductor formed by winding a coil around the magnetic core of a ferromagnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:As water flows in water pipe 1, rotary vane 2 rotates on rotation axis 3 and rotary piece 5 also turns. Into the gap of inductor 9 formed by winding coil 8 around magnetic core 7 of a ferromagnetic substance with a gap part, permanent magnet 6 fitted at the top of rotary vane 5 is inserted and every time permanent magnet 6 intrudes into the gas as rotary vane 2 turns, the inductance of inductor 9 varies. This variation is counted by counting circuit 20 via capacity bridge 11 and detector 19 to measure the quantity of flow, and at the same time, the count value is frequency-converted and transmitted from terminal 21 to a totalization center via a transmission line such as a telephone circuit. |
