PURPOSE:To mix coffee beans completely in a short time without crushing them by a mixer in which large and small diameter ribbon conveyers which make a delivering action in mutually opposite directions are attached to the periphery of a horizontal shaft rotating inside a container in such a way that the distance between the peripheral edges of the conveyers beomces the size equal to approx. two or three coffee beans. CONSTITUTION:The container 1 is provided with the charging port 2 for coffee beans at it upper part and also with the discharging port 3 with the lid 4 at its side. And, the horizontal rotary shaft 5 is attached to the inside of the container 1 and the large-diameter ribbon conveyer 7 to deliver coffee beans toward the left side and the small-diameter ribbon conveyer 6 to deliver coffee beans toward the right side are provided. Furthermore, the scraping-up blade 11 is attached to the periphery of the large-diameter ribbin conveyer, and the distance between the peripheral edges 8 and 9 of both the conveyers is regulated to the size of two or three coffee beans. The coffee beans are scraped up by the scraping-up blade 11, flowed down from the aperture of the large-diameter ribbon conveyer 7 to the central part and then delivered toward the left side, and then delivered toward the right direction by the small-diameter ribbon conveyer 6 and mixed. In this case, no crushing of the coffee beans takes place during the mixing because of large aperture between both conveyers. |
