<p>The invention relates to a compound of the formula: where R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 may be the same or different and are hydrogen. halo, loweralkyl, haloloweralkyl, nitro, amino, acylamino, hydroxy, aralkyloxy or loweralkoxy; Rn is hydrogen or loweralkyl; R7, R8, R9 and R10 may be the same or different and are hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl; R7 and R8 together and R9 and R10 together may form a 5-7 atom ring which may further include 0-1 hetero atoms of N, O or S; x is 0-1; the sum total of carbon atoms present in R7, R8, R9 and R10 together is less than twelve; and the non-toxic acid addition salts thereof. These compounds have valuable properties as antisecretory, anti-spasmodic, anti-ulcerogenic and anti-diarrheal agents.</p> |
