摘要 The invention relates to a spectrophotometer for the optical analysis of small samples arranged on a rotor turning at approximately 1000 rpm and capable simultaneously of satisfying limiting requirements such as: measurement time per sample < 50 mu s, sample volume APPROX 200 mu l, continuous selection of the wavelengths from 290 to 700 nm, bandwidth 8 nm, wide measurable absorbtion range from 0.0 to 3.0, highly reproducable measurements, excellent linearity over a wide absorbtion range between the absorbtion measured and the concentration of the sample, low bulk, reduced maintenance, low cost price. This spectrophotometer comprises a flash lamp (11), an optical device (14) for making the spatial position of the light beams derived from the flashes uniform, a grating monochromater (16) for dispersing each of the beams and delivering a filtered light beam, an element (27) for splitting this latter beam into a reference beam and a measurement beam which passes through the sample (22), and optoelectronic detectors (18, 25) for receiving the reference beam and the measurement beam. This spectrophotometer can be used in particular in clinical chemistry. <IMAGE>
