<p>An opto-electronic ignition system of the type disclosed in our Canadian Patent Application No. 256,761 in which the improvements are: (a) a reverse diode across the infra-red lamp;(b) a capacitor connected in parallel with the protective zener diode associated with the power Darlington pair; and(c) a Schottky diode connected in the forward direction between the base and collector electrodes of the photo-transistor.</p> |
