PURPOSE:To joint two-layered thermoplastic resin foaming sheets quickly and uniformly by a method wherein two layers of thermoplastic foam sheets are fused at their cut sections, expanded by rotating one of them at the joint line and fused. CONSTITUTION:Double layers of thermoplastic resin foam sheets are cut and their cutting section is fused. Then, they are develped by rotating one of them at the joint line of the above-mentioned section and fused to each other. Thermoplastic resin foam sheets of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc. can be used as thermoplastic foam sheets. Cutting, heating and fusing of the foam sheet may be conducted at the same time or heating and fusing after cutting may be done. In this way, foam sheets can be jointed with each other easily, quickly and uniformly and unevenness does not appear at the joint part. |
