PURPOSE:To make a working liquid feed pump and a recovery tank smaller and reduce facilities expenses and running cost by arranging a lower wire electrode guide and its mounting arm outside the working liquid. CONSTITUTION:This wire cut electrical discharge machining apparatus consists of the wire electrode 1 and the arm 2 which are mounted on a column standing on the machine bench, the lower and upper wire electrode guides 5 and 6, working tank 8, and stool 9. Then this guide 5 and the arm 2 which mounts the guide are arranged outside the working liquid. This enables compactness and light weight of the tank 8 and compactness of the feed pump of the working liquid and its recovery tank including the drive motor of the NC table. As a result, facilities expenses and running cost can be reduced. |
