The invention concerns an arrangement for removing dust and static electricity from the screen of a television set. The arrangement consists of a belt, a ribbon, a cord, etc., of textile fibres with admixture of electrically conducting material in fibre form, wire form, or particle form, which ribbon etc. has a length basically coinciding with the dimension of the screen in the vertical or horizontal direction.
