PURPOSE:To obtain the information easily and surely, by selective use of the direct response communication line and automatic response communication circuit (including memory unit and display unit) and by display of the information not suitable for the direct resonse after temporary storage. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit 13 of portable telephone set is newly provided with the tone signal reception circuit 41, memory unit 42, display unit 43, gate circuit 44, switch circuits 45, 46, and automatic response signal transmission circuit 47. In case of the usage in automatic response state, the moving contacts a, b of the circuits 45 and 46 are selected to the fixed contacts a'' and b''. When the automatic response signal i is fed to the caller, the receiver receiving this call delivers the information signal required such as telephone number in dial tone, the portable set is demodulated at the reception circuit 12, the tone signal fed via the switch circuit 31 is received and demodulated 41 and stored 42 after the conversion to required signal. The content of the memory unit 42 is displayed 48 externally and cleared 49. Further, the circuit 41 detects the end of the information signal, supplies it to the gate 44 to perform hook-on of the hook switch 18. |
