The conductors or pipes are fitted with a termination having an annular groove (5) into which the edges of the cut-outs in the sides of the junction box are fitted. The termination has two flanges (4a, 4b) between which fit a corresponding cutout (6), which is semicircular at the bottom, in the walls of the junction box. The flanges (4a, 4b) fit into square cut-outs (19) in the walls of the box. The cover (2) is fastened by a bolt passing through the cover and the central pillar (10) and held in place by a nut on the side of the box opposite the cover. A seal is formed by seals (16, 2). A sealing compound or a suitably shaped sealing ring may also be used to improve sealing if required.
