PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical strength of terminal and resistance to liquid leakage by providing a sealing film to isolate the connecting portion of negative pole terminal from the reaction system. CONSTITUTION:The separator 4 impregnated with a zinc perchlorate solution as an electrolyte is interposed between a stainless steel as the positive current collector 1, and manganese dioxide as the positive active substance 2 and zinc as the negative pole 3, and then sealing is made by the sealing film 5 to form a flat cell. The negative terminal plate 6 of the cell is made of nickel plate, stainless steel, etc., and then divided by the sealing portion 7 so that the surrounding of the connecting portion B connected with the negative pole zinc 3 is isolated from the discharge reaction portion A by the sealing film 5. Thus, the connecting portion B of the terminal can be sealed liquid-tightly and therefore the leakage of liquid can be prevented and the strength of the terminal can be raised. |
