PURPOSE:To manufacture a mold with ease and increase the life time thereof by an arrangement wherein the slot bottom portion of the shading coil starting type stator is formed in linear form. CONSTITUTION:The slot bottom portion of a stator core is formed in linear form. There is also provided a protrusion at the tip of opening portion of a shading coil inserting slot on the shading coil inserting side. By so doing, due to increasing of linear portions a mold can be manufactured with ease by punching and pitching caused by the acute angle edge of the shaded portion can be prevented, thereby enabling to increase the life time of the mold. |
