PURPOSE:To make easier the formation of laminated cell as well as eliminate the leakage of liquid completely by using as a solvent a cyclic ether with one double bond in its molecule and as an electrolyte a semisolid substance polymerized by a polymerizing agent. CONSTITUTION:As at least one solvent for organic electrolyte, a cyclic ether with one double bond in its molecule, e.g., 2,3-dihydrofuran (DHF), 3,4-dihydro-2H- pyrane (DHP), etc., is used, and also as an electrolyte, a semisolid and gelled substance obtained from polymerization of the said cyclic ether by an initiator, e.g., azobisisobutyronitrile, etc., is used. Also, a non-polymerizable organic solvent having a compatibility with the said cyclic ether, e.g., propylene carbonate (PC), etc., may be used. For example, a 3:2-4:1 mixture of DHF and PC or DHP and PC is mixed with lithium perchlorate and azobisisobutyronitrile. Using such an electrolyte, the light metal negative pole 1, the positive pole 3 using carbon fluoride, etc., as active substance, and the separator 5, a cell is built up. |
