PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of assembling an induction motor and the reliability of the motor an arrangement wherein lead wires are collectively molded at the appropriate position, this molded piece is fitted into a shot formed on the motor housing and the end bracket is integrally attached to the stepped portion of the molded piece. CONSTITUTION:A collective molded piece 6 is provided at the appropriate position of a plurality of lead wires 5 connected to an coil end 4a of stator winding 4. This molded piece 6 includes a stepped portion 6a and a groove 6b. The groove 6b is fitted into a slot 12 formed on a motor housing 1 and thus an end bracket is integrally attached to the stepped portion 6a. By so doing, the efficiency of assembling can be improved and external force applied on the lead wires 5 is supported by the molded piece 6 so as to avoid it from being applied on the connection of the lead wires 5, thereby preventing troubles such as wire disconnection and interlayer short and improving the reliability. |
