PURPOSE:Title composition which is excellent in tensile strength, etc., prepared by adding an organotin stabilizer to a resin composition comprising a chlorinated polyethylene having a chlorine content in a specific range and a polyvinyl chloride resin for paste use, and then, cross-linking the mixture. CONSTITUTION:The composition of the purpose is obtained by mixing a resin composition comprising (a) 80-95wt% of a chlorinated polyethylene having a chlorine content of 20-45wt%, prepared by chlorinating a polyethylene having a metal index of below 30 by an aqueous suspension chlorination process, and (b) 20-5wt% of a polyvinyl chloride for paste use with (c) 2-10pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. of the resin, of an organotin stabilizer such as dibutyltin maleate and dibutyltin dilaurate, and cross-linking the mixture either by adding to the mixture about 1-15pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. of the resin, of an organic peroxide cross-linking agent such as di- tert-butyl peroxide, or by irradiating the mixtur with ionizing radiation. |
