<p>PURPOSE:To provide a self-fluxing alloy having superior wear and fatigue resistances at ordinary and high temps., almost protected from cracking and spalling due to a sudden thermal change, and suitable for use in spraying and build-up welding by adding specified elements to a Ni-Cr alloy. CONSTITUTION:The alloy consists of Ni; 40-70%, Cr; 5-40%, B; 1-6%, Si; 1-6%, C; 0.1-2.0%, Fe; 1-10%, W; 1-25% and Cu; 0.8-5% or further contains one or more out of Mo<5%, Co<5%, Sn<5% and Be<3%. When powder of this alloy is sprayed upon the surface of a metal product, it exhibits superior wear and fatigue resistances at high temps. up to 800 deg.C and slightly undergoes cracking and spalling due to a sudden thermal change. Thus, this alloy has superior characteristics as an alloy for spraying and build-up welding.</p> |
