Loom - having sets of diverse sinkers for mfg. fabrics differing in respect of laying warp and weft yarns

Loom has a number of juxtaposed arcuate sinkers provided with an arcuate slot for warp yarns guided by independently movable healds. Sinker is mounted on a slidable sinker provided with a recess forming a guide channel for the weft yarn shuttle. Adjacent guide groove is provided with a bearded needle provided with >=2 spaced projections and associated with a slidable sinker for formation of yarn space. On the web of the groove there is mounted slidably a further sinker for covering the upper portion of the guide channel for the shuttle. Loom has further a control member influencing the sinkers and movable simultaneously with a yarn guide tube which inserts a knitting yarn in the woven fabric above or below the sinker. Tube co-operates with needle or sinker bed disposed above the carried bed of the sinkers and reciprocable vertically relative to the warp supply direction for formation of loops. Loom can produce a variety of fabrics differing in respect of laying warp and weft yarns at high prodn. rate and low noise level.
