<p>An elastic joint strip has vulcanised edge T-profiles for connection to fixture profiles let into the gap edges, in provision for spanning expansion joints, eps. in bridges. Interfacing T-profiles of adjacent strips are connected to a plate sited lengthways in the joint. This is supported on socket-shaped bearings sliding lenghthways, with rounded support-elements. Expansion joints of any width can be bridged at low level, and can bear heavy vehicles.</p> |
