Nose clip for medicating cattle - has receiving surfaces for medicinal bodies mutually inclined and twisted

The ends of a bow shaped clip have arrangements for receiving medicines in the form of bodies for positioning in the nose of cattle to be treated prophylactically or therapeutically. Either the ends of the bow with the receiving arrangements or the surfaces of the medicinal bodies themselves are inclined and twisted relatively to each other. Pref. the receiving arrangements for the medicinal bodies are inclined at an angle between 10 degrees and 23 degrees and twisted at an angle of 8 degrees to 28 degrees. The medicines are moulded on, or are attached by elastic sleeves, to studs which are fixed on the ends of the bow clip. The alignment of the receivers is well suited to the application of the medicament, in contact with the mucous membrane in a depression of the nasal dividing wall close to the nostrils.
