Textile goods treating appts. has its annular chamber defined by surrounding housing and perforate, rotary drum arranged as a high pressure chamber into which terminates liquor supply duct. Openings in the sleeve of the drum are so dimensioned w.r.t. the textile goods supported by the sleeve that by controlling the liquor supply pressure the pressure in the chamber can be maintained at a pressure varying from 50 5000 mm water gauge (2000 mm w.g.). Used for dyeing, washing or preliminary treatment of textile webs, fibre tows or fleeces or knitted goods. Uniform treatment can be effected in all sections of the appts. at reduced periodds of time.
