Beater for rotor of pig bristle removing machine - has mutually intersecting reinforcement layers of cabled metal wires

Reinforcement inlays formed by braided or cabled strands of metal wire are arranged in at least two layers in the natural or synthetic rubber beaters of a machine for stripping the bristles from the carcases of pigs. The metal strands of the two layers are aligned at an angle to each other and to the radial direction of the beater when mounted on the rotor. Twisting of the better during working is prevented though it is still able to adapt itself to the contours of the carcase without difficulty.
