Eaves sealing strip - with corrugated rigid plastics carrier, cover plate and expanded plastics sealing elements

A sealing strip for use in the gap between the eaves of a building and the roofing tiles lying on them consists of a carrier element of corrugated or zigzag shape which is pref. made of a rigid plastic by deep drawing or extrusion. A flat cover element is laid over this element followed by the sealing element proper. The latter is shaped to suit the roof slope and is pref. made of soft expanded PBC. All parts are joined to each other by layers of adhesive. This protects the roof space and provides adequate ventilation. It can be produced at low cost to suit all types of roofing tiles.
