The ground heat exchange cell has a column-type tubular body with a closed lower end, inserted in the ground or another medium with which heat-exchange can take place. The body (1) contains an inner pipe (2), so as to leave a flushing jacket (9) between them. At the lower end of the pipe there can be a serrated weir or a turbulence chamber (3), and it can have rings of guide rings (10) on the outside. The pipe may have a threaded flange (5) which encloses and intermediate flange (6) together with a head flange (7).
