Damp-proof foam-insulated sandwich wall structure - joins adjacent section cores by tubular sack foam filled in situ

An insert for connecting >=2 wall structures and end faces of which are aligned closely to each other, consists of a tubular hose of PVC or polyethylene film, for pref. 0.03 mm thick, and filled with expanded polystyrene or polyethylene. The structures are cavity walls of concrete enclosing a foam insulating layer and a damp excluding layer of synthetic foam, bitumin, etc. The damp excluding layers of two adjacent structures extend beyond the edges of the corresponding insulating layers which are themselves set back from the edges of the wall shells and making room for the insert. Arrangement ensures a reliable connection of the damp excluding arrangements to each other and an insulation without holes. The design is simpler and more pleasing in appearance without it being necessary to fit asbestos cement sheets because of the ready-made inserts used elsewhere.
