A resistance hinge formed in a concrete construction comprising at least one reinforcing rod 3 or 4 extending through two adjoining sections of the concrete construction and embedded therein, but released from the concrete in at least one of said concrete sections through a predetermined length from the junction between the two sections, by being enclosed in a tube embedded in the concrete. A deformable layer 5 and a cylindrical bearing 6 further relieve stresses at the joint.
