PURPOSE:To make the discharged quantity of paint appropriate and perform always sharp marking, by changing paint ejection time depending on the surface temperature of a marked material. CONSTITUTION:A hot coil 1 is transferred to a marking position by a conveyor 2. Marking start switches SW1, SW2 are closed and a filp-flop 12 is reset. At the same time, the surface temperature of the coil is measured by a radiation pyrometer 5 and a proportional signal voltage is picked out of a converter 6 to cause a ratio setting unit 7 to generate a paint ejection time signal. Paint ejection time is determined by the signal and a CR charging circuit 9. As a result, a solenoid valve V is energized and a spray gun 4 ejects a paint onto the coil 1 through a marking original plate in a spray box 3 to perform marking. The higher the temperature of the coil 1 is, the longer the ejection time is. The marking is thus appropriately effected. EFFECT:A simple logic circuit can be applied. |
