PURPOSE:To carry out the preset channel selection while recognizing the name of the broadcasting station by designating directly the position of the broadcasting station displayed on the dial via the fingers and with keeping of the analog-type dialing feeling. CONSTITUTION:Display means 5 to which several display elements showing the frequency position of the broadcasting station on the dial are distributed is provided, along with channel selection input means 4 provided in correspondence to means 5. Then the channel selection signal from means 4 plus the display signal from memory means 3 are applied to AND gate means 6. And the station selected is detected through means 6. The detected signal is applied to signal regeneration system 1 via tuning frequency control means 2 to be tuned with the desired frequency. Thus the frequency of the station of the dial is displayed previously to means 5, and the switch forming means 4 corresponding to the display element is operated in the state under which the dialing feeling is kept. And then the preset channel selection is performed while recognizing the name of the broadcasting station. |
