PURPOSE:To realize the control of the beam direction by providing the dielectric substance capable of giving the control to the form at the wave propagation path. CONSTITUTION:The spherical wave sent from conical horn 1 is converted into the plane wave through main reflector 2 and then put into liquid dielectric 3. The cross-section of dielectric 3 has the change in terms of time, and incident plane wave 4a forms equal phase surface 4b via dielectric 3. As a result, beam direction 5 features the direction corresponding to the equal phase surface each and thus has the continuous change within the fixed angle range. |
