PURPOSE:To ensure the assured reception for the transmission side discrimination information at the reception side, by coding the transmission side discrimination information and then transmitting it to the reception side via the low-speed MODEM. CONSTITUTION:At the transmission side, the reception side function is confiremed after connection of the telephone circuit. And thus the high-efficiency transmission parameter suited to the above function is set, and the set-up data is informed to the reception side via the low-speed MODEM. At the same time, the transmission side discrimination information is also encoded to be sent together to the reception circuit. At the reception side, the discrimination information among the data sent is memorized in the memory. Then the telautogram information is read at the transmission side to be transmitted to the reception side via the high-speed MODEM. In accordance with this, the plotter is actuated at the reception side, and the discrimination information memorized into the memory in synchronization with the record scanning of the plotter are extracted in sequence to the character pattern generator to be recorded onto the reception paper after decomposition of the linear scanning. When all discrimination information are recorded, the telautogram information which is sent next from the transmission side is recorded onto the reception paper. |
