CONTROL SYSTEM FOR OPENING AND CLOSING OF MOVING MOLD FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To effect opening and closing control for a mold of a molding machine easily by a method wherein a digital type sensor for movement of a moving mold and a plurality of stroke position setting registors are provided and a relational control is effected by comparing set contents with a sensed attribute. CONSTITUTION:A sensing head 15 is attached below a moving mold M through an adaptor plate 14 and a pulse signal PT is generated upon every unit movement thereof. Electric signals iL, iR for left and right movement of a plunger 13 are given from a speed signal generating portion 101 to an electromagnetic proportional flow control valve 17 supplying pressurized oil to a hydraulic cylinder 12. The pulse signal PT is given to a countor 23 and a coincidence signal C given from a comparator 21 is input into the countor 23 which is constituted so that counted contents are reset to zero and a conditional signal to a sequence controller 102 is generated.
