<p>PURPOSE:To improve the degradation in compression characteristics owing to mis-sampling by using m-number of pulse compressors, selecting the output of optimum sampling out of the outputs that they were operated respectively at different timings and outputting the same. CONSTITUTION:The m-number of compressors 21 are operated at the sample timings ST being deviated respectively by tau=T/m (T is 1-bit length of transmission codes) and their compressed outputs are respectively bisected, the one whereof are aligned of the timings by a timing compensator 22 and are then inputted to a channel select signal generator 23 and the other are inputted via delay line 24 to a channel selector 25. A channel select signal generating circuit 23 detects the one by the optimum sampling out of the outputs U1-Um of the respective compressors 21 and generates the channel select signal C. A channel selector 25 selects the one indicated by the channel select signal C out of the signals U1-Um and outputs the same as the optimum compressed waveform.</p> |
