Supplementary arrangement for a furnace consisting of a heat exchanger 1 in which the circulating water is heated and the heat energy in the heated water can be used for heating purposes. Heat exchanger 1 is a separate frame like furnace opening provided with fasteners 2 in which the heat exchanger can be suspended in the pivot pins of the furnace openings 3 and heat exchanger 1 is provided with a corresponding hinge 4 that extends in a direction from the furnace on which the furnace opening can be suspended to pivot.
