Harness making apparatus comprises a wire holding head traversable between first and second wire terminating stations to convey one end of each wire of a series of wires simultaneously from the first station to the second station, means to terminate the one end of each wire simultaneously at the second station, means to feed a predetermined length of each wire simultaneously past of through the head when at the first station after termination at the second station and means to sever and terminate the other end of each wire simultaneously at the first station. The feed means may comprise a nip drawing wires from a first and second series of pulleys, movable apart and together to draw predetermined lengths of wires from supply reels.
