A cassette-carrying case having a base and cover joined by a piano hinge which allows the base and cover to be opened a full 180 DEG . Easily operable latches are incorporated into the cover, which automatically lock the case closed when the cover is moved to the closed position. A handle is incorporated into the main body of the base and cover.
