PURPOSE:To prevent knocking and the damage of an engine at the time of turbo- supercharging without fail by automatically controlling ignition time correctly over the whole operation range from the nonturbo to on-turbo time. CONSTITUTION:The ignition time of an engine is controlled by the centrifugal control mechanism 19 in a distributor 17 against the revolutions of an engine. In an area where the opening of a throttle valve 9 is small, the revolution of a turbo- supercharger 4 is slow, and no supercharging is conducted by the turbo-supercharger 4. If the throttle valve 9 is opened, the turbo-supercharger 4 is sufficiently driven and revolved and moved to have a supercharged state. The diaphragm in an operating mechanism 24 is pressed, and the ignition time in the engine is delayed and controlled. |
