A protable structure comprising a pair of non coplanar parabolic arches is pivotally connected to a pair of spaced vertical support member to form a closed loop which, when covered by a fabric secured and tensioned about substantially the entire perimeter thereof, assumes the shape of a hyperbolic paraboloid. The structure takes a shape and rigidity which maintains whthout external tension means. The interior is made extremely accessible and can be assembled and disassembled in an easy and simple way.
