PURPOSE:To enable stable measurement with high accuracy even if the measurement is made in a high potential state by constituting a working electrode of a compsn. essentially consisting of a polyphenylene sulfide resin and graphite carbon. CONSTITUTION:This detector makes quantitative determination by measuring the current generated by a change of said material by the electrochemical reaction thereof and is constituted of the working electrode, counter electrode and reference electrode. This working electrode is constituted by incorporating the graphite carbon at a ratio of 30-80wt.% into the compsn. prepd. for which the polyphenylene sulfide is utilized as a binder resin. The electrical conductivity of the working electrode is low and, therefore, the absolute sensitivity is low if the content ratio of said carbon is too low. The background current value increases to lower the relative sensitivity if the ratio is excessively high. The material to be measured is, therefore, measured with the high sensitivity. |
