PURPOSE:To provide a stator coil fixing device of high firmness and reliability, by inserting a spacer in between adjacent coil ends and binding a plurality of coil ends with a band. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 7, whose thickness corresponds to the distance between the parts of lower coil ends 1a which are to be bound with a band 2, is tightly inserted in between the bound parts of the coil ends 1a of adjacent lower coils. The adjacent coil ends 1a and the binding band 2 are coupled to each other by a binding thread 3 over the spacer 7. Such steps are sequentially repeated so that all adjacent coil ends 1a placed along a circumference are conjoined to the binding bond 2 and spacers 7 by threads. As a result, the coil ends are firmly secured. Therefore, a rotary electric machine of little vibration and high reliability and performance can be obtained. |
