PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of overchange current and the loss of electrolyte in case of overcharge, by the use of a substantially copper-free alloy for the positive grid. CONSTITUTION:As the negative grid, a reclaimed lead alloy such as Pb-Sb(3.0%) and Pb-Sb(3.0%)-Cu(0.05%) is used; and as the positive grid, a substantially copper-free alloy such as Pb-Sb(3.0%) is used. |
