PURPOSE:To reduce the rotational resistance of roller as compared with that of conventional roller, by throwing off the lubricating oil entering from the gap in the roller for cold rolling mill by centrifugal force, stagnating it in the inside of roller, and sucking and discharging from the through-hole in the roller shaft. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil is charged from oil feed port 3 in a partition member 2 provided at both ends of a roller shaft 1 of a roller for cold rolling mill, and fills up a chamber 15 formed by the member 2, partition plate 13 of roller 12, and bearing 11, and is supplied to bearing 11. At the same time, pressure air is supplied from air intake hole 5 in the member 2, and fills up a chamber 16 formed by the member 2, roller 12, and partition plate 13. This pressure air prevents the lubricating oil filling up the chamber 15 from leaking outside. On the other hand, the lubricating oil filling up the chamber 15 is passed inside through the bearing 11 by rotation of the roller 12, and is further introduced inside through a gap (t) between the shaft 1 and roller 12. This introduced lubricating oil is dripped off by centrifugal force from a circumferential groove 14 in the inside of the roller 12, and is collected. The oil is then sucked into a through-hole 8 in the shaft 1, and discharged outside from central hole 7 and discharge hole 9, and is circulated to be reused. |
