PURPOSE:To realize dynamic closed loop control of converter, by calculating the C content in steel bath from the measurement of solidifying temperature, in converter operation, and judging the temperature of molten steel and solidifying temperature from the thermocouple output, and measuring C% and temperature of steel bath in real time. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen blowing lance 2 and a sublance 3 equipped with thermocouple 4 for measuring temperature of steel bath 6 and thermocouple 5 for measuring solidifying temperature at the end thereof are inserted into a converter 1. These measuring outputs are applied to a computer as analog inputs. The C content in steel bath 6 is calculated from the measurement of solidifying temperature of steel bath, according to the known function. In measurement of said solidifying temperature and steel bath temperature, by judging the stable state where the thermocouple outputs may continue to remain within the predetermined deviation, these temperatures are detected in real time, so that dynamic closed loop control may be realized. |
