This device, which can be in the shape of a handle, has the advantage that it can be removed and reinserted on the same wrapper with extreme ease. In addition to the handle it has two parallel sides (3-5) joined along their top edge, at least one of these sides being provided with a projection (6) in the form of an upturned barb, the projection being designed to grip the folded back edges of the sheets. This could promote a return to the use of paper as a packaging material, which would be desirable from an ecological viewpoint. <IMAGE>
