The hydraulic distributor, used on heavy earthmoving plant or similar, switches a high pressure actuating fluid to alternative moving parts, and is designed to eliminate parasitic distributor forces. Mounted on a coaxial rod, the slide displaces in a housing block, with two tier springing being used to maintain the repose state. Antagonistic pistons effect slide movements, being served by independent feeds, and being mounted on projecting rod lengths. Each piston comprises a piston block and a stop block, the latter being fixed to the rod ends and the former being mounted slidably on it. Low pressure feeds serve fore piston chambers, the aft chambers communicating with a return feed. Axial slide and piston bores connect aft chambers with one another and with fore chambers.
|
