<p>PURPOSE:To prevent electrostatic charge from being stored in a magnetic tape, by providing a conductive metallic plating layer on the cassette housing where the magnetic tape with a conductive metallic thin film stuck is stored. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plating layer consisting of copper, etc., is provided on cassette housing 1 which stores a magnetic tape with a conductive metallic thin film stuck and is formed with resin base body. Consequently, when the cassette is mounted on a magnetic recording and reproducing device, electrostatic charge generated in the tape dependently upon friction, etc., for running through grounded positioning pin 5 is not stored in the tape, so that the tape can be prevented from being sucked, wound, etc., to the capstan due to electrostatic charge.</p> |
